Zeromancer：Something For The Pain

Zeromancer將於11月1日發行雙CD的精選輯<Something For The Pain>，從1999年到2013年的六張作品都會收錄，在大唱片公司旗下與獨立製作兩個時期，正好各有三張專輯，依年代順序各收在一張CD裡。

看到這個消息，一方面高興他們整理了多年累積的作品精華，也許能吸引來更多新接觸的樂迷，另一方面卻也有些小小的擔憂，因為自從今年二月底<Bye-Bye Borderline>宣傳巡迴開跑，Zeromancer官方facebook放出「這可能是我們最後一次巡迴演出了，我們也不確定，但未來肯定有所變化。」的「恐嚇宣言」之後，相信已經有不少樂迷一直提心吊膽，害怕哪天醒來就收到樂團解散或休息的噩耗。

In two weeks the Tortured Artist Tour kicks off in Vienna. 
It might be the last one. We really don't know. However we will make our priorities a little different after this tour. 
Too many obstacles and tasks in life is calling on us.
From this day on, Zeromancer will be more exclusive.

You shouldn't worry. We have more releases coming.
Though if you wanna catch Zeromancer on tour, now is the time!!!

夏天歐洲音樂節檔期結束後，Zeromancer的確安靜了好一陣子，直到傳出要發精選輯的消息，以及幾個提早預定的明年音樂節行程，我真的有稍微鬆一口氣的感覺，至少，這幾位顯然越來越想待在家鄉陪老婆小孩或宅在錄音室裡的中年男子，還沒有這麼快想從舞台上退休。只是，精選輯仍然有些宣告階段性結束的意味，也許Zeromancer從此四、五年才交一張新專輯，也許像NIN一樣暫時解散休息（但Trent今年又回來了，還一跑就跑到日本Fuji Rock呢），也許連Seigmen都沒有下一次的復合演出了，我們無從得知，只希望他們的下一步不要離樂迷們太遙遠。

最後附上精選輯曲目，以及同名的Something For The Pain，收錄在2000年第一張<Clone Your Lover>專輯裡。Underground似乎是新歌，其他的代表作大多也都收齊，四平八穩。
但個人心中最大遺珠是Ammonite, Fade to Black竟都不在其中，還有我最愛的公路歌曲Erotic Saints...（如果讓我收錄的話大概會收成一張4CD精選吧...）
